Speaking of status, basically keeps going down on my opinion. I guess that’s what happens if you are a Titanium member. Then instantly got a response on messenger. I sent a chat on Marriott messenger but got tired of waiting for a response, so called front desk. Keeping in mind, not everyone walks out the front door in the morning (if there is a sign). Especially today, Nov 15, the water is off in the hotel until 3pm.this would have been nice to know in advance. Construction!! The staff here is great! But I really wish I would have known about the construction which lasts all day until about 6pm. I was wondering why the hotel was so empty, but after being here a week, now I know why. In this pandemic, I'm appalled that this hotel didn't even do a regular cleaning of my hotel room, let alone any extra sanitation or cleaning. So, I used my Clorox wipes to clean everything and sanitize my room, my fridge, the shower, counters, fixtures, etc. Later that evening, I walked into the bathroom and noticed stains on the shower floor. Also, I was offered no solutions, no alternatives, no cleaning services, nothing. However, no one EVER came to clean the room. I also told her no one cleaned my fridge she said "sorry". The lady said it may not be possible because housekeeping service was suspended. I called the front desk to inform them of it and requested someone clean my room. Later, I noticed a few pieces of candy and a used piece of tissue at the base of one of the queen beds in my room. I went to the front desk and asked the lady at the front desk if someone could clean it, as I leave to go get food. After checking in, I opened the fridge in my room and it had dirt, hair and brown stains in it. For a business area with so many hotels, there are many better options.… All of these are excusable in my book, but majority of the staff members I spoke to really put it on a lower level. ![]() There were lots of small room quirks, like sometimes the water in the shower never got hot, or the outlet next to the bed did not work. I get that not everyone needs a microwave, but it's something I rely on when traveling. On my second trip, my room did not even have a microwave. Needless to say, it did not get fixed during our stay. On my first trip, the microwave in one of my coworker's rooms did not work, and when he informed the front desk they blew him off, telling him a lot of them are broken and they'll fix it when they can. I have unfortunately stayed in this hotel twice now for work, and the front desk and coffee shop staff seem incredibly annoyed by anyone who checks in or orders a cup of coffee. The customer service was absolutely the low point. While this hotel is not horrible, there is much better in this area for the budget.
